Here’s a great way to thank your hard working volunteer firefighters while packing in a year supply of cholesterol.
The WFPA will smoke the pig,simmer some beans, offer light refreshments and a few big cakes.

Labor Day, 2017 saw the 50th Anniversary celebration of the WFPA and the Walker Fire Volunteer Department and the Annual Firefighters Appreciation Day.
As is tradition, a whole pig was roasted and everyone shared in the feast.
The turn out was larger than previous years with probably about 300 people in attendance.
