I was informed by a reliable source that the sheriff will be lifting the Walker evacuation for Walker proper (and I’m assuming beyond, such as Potato Patch, etc) at 9:45AM this morning. The sheriff will be re-locating the road block to Big Bug Mesa Rd.

Goodwin Fire Update, June 2, 2017, 8:00 AM – Forest Service

You need to know:

Firefighters made excellent progress overnight burning out an area near the northwest corner of Big Bug Mesa, east of Breezy Pines.

The burnout operation is expected to be complete today.

Additional fire retardant has been applied on this section of the fire to help reinforce the perimeter.
