Walker Day is the single BIGGEST fundraiser of the season. This event it is
a giant yard sale with items that are donated from the community. Walker

How Can You Make Walker Day A Success?

Now is the perfect time to clean out those closets, cabinets, garage, etc.
at home. Some of our residents have homes in the valley and a clean out
there can be a big help to our event. Those items that you no longer
need/want can be donated to the Walker Day event. These donated items are
then for sale at our Walker Day yard sale where all the money generated
goes to support our WPFA. It is a win win for all!

We are currently accepting your donations. These donated items can be
dropped off at the small fire station building which is behind the main
fire house building. Please have items boxed if possible as it assists us
in storing items until the sale.

DO NOT drop off big items that typically do not sell such as washers &
dryers, couches, big chairs, box springs, mattresses etc.

I will be at the fire station building this Saturday at 5pm to take
donations if you have items you would like to donate that you might be
worried about leaving outside the building.

Another way you can help is to be a volunteer for this event. We can
definitely use the help and it truly is a lot of fun and a wonderful way to
meet new neighbors and see some you maybe haven’t seen in a while. If you
would like to volunteer to help at Walker Day, please let me know.
