POSSIBLE ROAD CLOSURE DUE TO FIRE – NEAR PALACE STATION ON SENATOR HWY
YCSO is in route to assist on a wildland fire that is visible on Senator Hwy near Palace Station. The U.S. Forest Service has stated the fire is burning approximately 4 acres, but is considered only a moderate risk at the moment. Law enforcement is on scene and may be shutting down part of the roadway to traffic to allow for fire equipment to be transported to the scene. Please stay away from the area until further details are shared by the Forest Service.

1) The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has issued a GO status for the following areas: Look Out Mountain and Mt. Tritle. Please grab your things and head to an safe area.
2) Please follow this page and Code Red for READY and SET alerts coming soon.
3) Road closures: Please refer to attached Forest Service map. Senator Hwy is closed from Mile Post 7 to Goodwin Rd.
