About a half mile past the mailboxes, on the dirt part of Walker Road, as the road starts to go up the valley, Lynx Creek would cross the road twice.

The road would always wash out at those two places. There was asphalt there, but it had huge, chunky holes in it.

Every Winter, it would get worse.

This week, they put in culverts, under the road, and now they are putting in concrete over the road.

Expect some delays as they pour concrete. One lane is poured and driveable. They are pouring the other lanes today.

Everything should be finished up by Friday.

Yesterday, they put in culverts closer to the mailboxes, where there was always a stream of water going across the dirt road.

It’s covered in A-B dirt and will nice and smooth to drive on now.

We’re making progress in Walker!
