While taking photos of The Pink Car for our stickers, I got pretty well acquainted with what it looked like.

Imagine my surprise, and anger, when I drove by today, Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 12:30, and saw that someone had taken a few shots at it with a shotgun.

I feel personally violated, even though I don’t own it, it’s a symbol of our community, the place that I live and love.

The door has a new, large hole in it, and the front fender has been damaged.

I personally, would like to have it repaired. A new piece of sheet metal could be welded in and everything painted again.

I’d be willing to put some money into doing that, and I’m sure there are a few of you that would do that also.

My questions are, first, who did this? and why?

Second, who owns it? Where do I get permission to repair it?

You, the people who read this site, know more about these things than I do.

Please leave any information in the comments below. Thanks.
