We got 6 to 8 inches of snow last night. More in higher elevations.

There is supposed to be another foot at least coming tonight and continuing all day tomorrow.

Roads are plowed. The county takes good care of us here.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM MONDAY TO 11 AM MST
TUESDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET…

* WHAT…Expect rain and snow showers today and tonight, ahead of
very powerful storm due early Monday. Snow levels today will be
around 4500 feet, with a few inches possible above 5000 feet in
the heavier showers. Snow will become heavy Monday and Monday
night, tapering off Tuesday.

* WHERE…Areas above 4000 feet near Chino Valley, Fredonia,
Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake, North Rim, Paulden, Sedona and Valle.

* WHEN…From 5 AM Monday to 11 AM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas
of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Roadways
will be snow packed and dangerous. Travel times will increase.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Southwest winds gusting as high as 30 mph
will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow Monday and
Monday night.
